Mac users would you give your children a mac or a pc first?

I don't think your kid needs a computer if they aren't capable of making that decision themselves. Also, macs will develop over the next several years and eventually run most, if not all, of the software that PCs do. Consequentially, macs will inherit a lot of the problems that PC users face such as viruses. As apple has to face these problems i think it will be interesting to see if it remains as "headache free." I'm a PC user, but I don't think you'll be hindered by not being exposed to PCs... anyone in a position that requires a PC is likely smart enough to learn how to use a PC
