Does 1/6th of the US states trying to put creationism in the clroom explain why atheist complain?

Unfortunately for you, atheists have been wasting our time for the past 50 years trying to p science off as religion. Science is not perfect, and half of the evolutionary theory is completely insane. From purely logical point of view, I see evolution as a joke, unfortunately, my children will still be taught it as if it were fact (i.e. religiously).
